Fees when attorneys are involved:
Mediation:
Combined assets and gross annual income is less than $100,000: $175 per hour.*
Combined assets and gross annual income is more than $100,000: $275 per hour.*
EXAMPLES:
Bob’s income is $45k a year and Mary’s income is $50k a year and neither Bob nor Mary own a home or have any savings or retirement accounts, then they might qualify for the reduced rate mediation.
Bob’s income is $45k a year and Mary’s income is $50k a year and neither Bob nor Mary own a home, but Bob has a retirement account. To determine if Bob and Mary might qualify for a reduced rate mediation, add Bob and Mary’s income plus the value of Bob’s retirement account.
Bob’s income is $45k a year and Mary’s income is $50k a year and Mary owns a home with $35k in equity, then Bob and Mary would not qualify for a reduced rate mediation even though their combined income is less than 100k annually because it is the value of their combined income and assets.
Bob’s income is $45k a year and Mary’s income is $0 but Bob and Mary own a home with $55k in equity, then Bob and Mary would not qualify for a reduced rate mediation even though their combined income is less than 100k annually because it is the value of their combined income and assets.
*Parties must complete a credit card authorization form no later than 10 days prior to the scheduled mediation in order for mediation to take place. When scheduling, please provide your client’s email address.
Fee for pro se clients when no attorneys are involved on either side:
$350 per hour. Minimum payment due within 24 hours of scheduling to reserve day/time.
Half-day: 3hr min. Full-day: 6hr min.
