How is family mediation different from litigation?
In family mediation, opposed to litigation, we focus on the fact that the parties are on the SAME team and the goal is to create a family plan that will protect each member; Mother, Father and child.
“In business as in life, you don’t get what you deserve,
you get what you negotiate.” ~ Chester L Karrass
Where do you conduct mediation sessions?
Matthew Brickman provides virtual mediation services all around the world.
Who provides the documents for my mediation agreement?
Your paternity or divorce packet can be provided upon request. We draft your Settlement Agreement, Parenting Plan and Child Support Guidelines in mediation saving you time and money.
How knowledgeable and experienced are your mediators?
We have only State Supreme Court Certified mediators. Continuing education throughout the year is required as a paternity and divorce mediator. We are on the cutting edge with updated laws/documents as we track trendsetting changes in the statutes governing family mediation – such as the same-sex marriage laws. Our family mediator is just like you as he has experienced similar situations.
What makes Matthew different from others?
Matthew is trained in the law and understands the psychological impact associated with the reorganization of the family unit. Matthew, unlike most mediators, Matthew mediates with the parties and drafts the agreements during the mediation session saving the parties valuable time and money. Matthew has lived through many of the same experiences that the parties are living through. if you would like to read about his story click here.
